Green Death Valley Onyx is a rare and unique type of onyx that is found exclusively in the Death Valley area of California. What makes this particular onyx so special is its rich green color, which is caused by the presence of iron oxide and other minerals. This beautiful stone is highly sought after by collectors and designers alike for its unique color and striking appearance. Despite its name, Green Death Valley Onyx is not actually poisonous or dangerous in any way, but rather it is a fascinating natural wonder that has captured the attention of many people over the years.
I purchased a large chunk of it directly from the rockhound who mined it. This has a pale green semi-transparent background with bands and swirls of yellow gold woven through these pieces.
