Bedrock Beauties LLC offers a wide range of high quality, handmade jewelry to suit your taste and style. Each stone is born from rough rock mined across the world. It is a labor of love to study each piece of rough material, plan how to cut it, shape and polish it until a gem is born. Each stone is cut by me in my lapidary shop and all of the items are unique because they are natural stones created by nature, I guarantee that you will get the most value out of your purchase. It’s always a good time to indulge in something special for yourself or those you love.

Bedrock Beauties is a small home business owned by Angelique Capra. Based out of Hernando Mississippi, The lapidary shop has windows facing the backyard. It is common for me to be slabbing rocks in my rock saw while I am running tumblers and also making cabochons on my machine. I work full time and most of my personal time is put into my lapidary craft. I prefer slabbing rocks and creating stones and only make a few wire wrapped jewelry items to show you the possibilities and promise in the stones.

In 2016 I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritic, fibromyalgia, and extensive degenerative disc disease in my spine. When all of this happened, I was in incredible pain, could barely sleep or walk, and some days I needed help just to dress. I fell into depression which only amplified my physical pain. I thought of all my hobbies I enjoyed and could no longer do like gardening, deep sea fishing, and pottery. As part of regaining my physical and mental health, I took up lapidary as a new hobby and way to regain my creativity, It keeps me more active, reduces stress and bring beauty to my life which I want to share with you.

I share this information so the passion I have for what I create is clear. I also hope that any of you who may face challenges, find your own path to happiness and joy.
